Im Ashley Johnson. Im 19 years old and I live in Westchester.
Intended Major: Communications
Interests: Some of my interests are singing, filming, and catching up on all of my tv shows that I love.
I have three goals for my the academic year in Pace University.
1)I plan on passing ALL my classes
2)I plan on joining a club so I can get involved with the school.
3)I plan on going to the gym
I plan on hopefully getting an internship to something related to entertainment industry such as acting or singing. Any place like Interscope or Warner Brothers would be a dream internship. With the Internship it can allow me to meet more people and gain more connections. Eventually, the right connection can allow me to become a member in the Entertainment buisness.
I plan on becoming a more mature individual. For example, I want to continue being in class on time, I want to always have my work turned in when it’s due. I want balance a job and school. I personally just want to challenge myself on doing alot of postive things in life so it can help me grow as a better person.
I plan on meeting more new people and traveling . I feel like the more people you meet the more you learn about life, people, and yourself. As for travelling I think that you’ll learn more about yourself. You see life differently and learn different ways to live.
1)“Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.”
― George Bernard Shaw
2) “Be yourself- not your idea of what you think somebody else’s idea of yourself should be.”
― Henry David Thoreau
3)“You’ve gotta dance like there’s nobody watching, Love like you’ll never be hurt, Sing like there’s nobody listening, And live like it’s heaven on earth.”
I feel like all three of these quotes describe me. I always feel like I need to be someone else to feel accepted. I feel like if I change myself all the time or if I change the way I act then ill me liked more. When in reality, being yourself is the greatest thing you can do. Being different is what makes you stand out from the rest. As I grew up I was able to find myself and know myself, so that way I didn’t judge or criticize myself. This is why I love these three quotes so much!
